Happy Sunday!
Last week I took a trip to Fainting Goat Studios in Bedford, VA to meet indie Americana artist Griffin Haley, studio musician Camry Harris and the  owner and engineer of Fainting Goat Studios, Willy Gurly.

Fainting Goat Studios was built in 2006 when Willy Gurly was in 6th grade. His dad took all the finances saved for Willy's future college career and constructed a studio in their back yard in rural Bedford, VA. What began as a hobby quickly became one of the most sought after recording spaces in Appalachia. Willy is 27 now, an incredible artist and above all, a stellar, motivated engineer and producer. Ask any artist that records there, it's all about the vibe. The open sky, rolling hills and roaming chickens make Fainting Goat Studios more than a recording studio, it's an experience.

We talk about the song writing process unique unto every artist, and Willy’s magic touch that has elevated Fainting Goat Studios into one of the most sought after recording spaces in Appalachia.
